The future entrepreneur Vladimir Yevtushenkov was born on September 25, 1948. His family lived in the small village of Kamenshchina, Smolensk region. His father was a director at a local dairy, and his mother worked there as a milkmaid.
From an early age, Vladimir Yevtushenkov became interested in chemistry and dreamed of becoming a scientist. At school, he was the favorite of all the teachers. He studied well, and he was best given chemistry. Good grades were necessary for him to enter the Lomonosov Moscow State University at the Faculty of Chemistry.
However, after serving in the army, Vladimir Yevtushenkov decides to apply to another university. In 1968, he was enrolled at D. Mendeleev Moscow Chemical Technology Institute. Five years later, Yevtushenkov Vladimir Petrovich received a diploma in process engineering.
He received his first work experience at the Sverdlov plant. From 1973 to 1975, he worked in various positions, starting with a simple worker and ending with the head of the section. In 1975, Vladimir Yevtushenkov moved to work in Moscow and received the status of head of one of the workshops at the Karacharov Plastics Plant. For his excellent performance in work in 1981, he was promoted to deputy director of the enterprise and soon became chief engineer.
Yevtushenkov Vladimir managed to combine work with study. He was used to achieving his goals, so he again decided to enter Moscow State University, only to the Faculty of Economics. In the 80s, he received a diploma in economics and later defended his candidate's and doctoral dissertations in his specialty.
In 1982, he began to build his career in a research and production association. He worked for the company for five years.
In 1993, Vladimir Yevtushenkov and like-minded people created the Sistema financial corporation. The company was engaged in reconstructing real estate, construction, and finance.
For almost 30 years, the Sistema joint-stock financial corporation has united many enterprises.
Today, AFK Sistema owns stakes in such companies as the network of medical centers MEDSI, the timber holding Segezha Group, the pharmaceutical company Binnopharm Group, the agricultural holding STEPPE, some companies in the field of tourism, IT and telecommunications.
Little is known about the personal life of the entrepreneur. Nevertheless, it is known that Vladimir has been in a happy marriage for many years.
Yevtushenkov Vladimir met his future wife while working at the Polymerbyt enterprise. The couple raised two children - a daughter and a son.
Vladimir Petrovich proved by his own example that ordinary low-income people from the outback could reach certain heights. Yevtushenkov Vladimir Petrovich achieved success in entrepreneurial activity, but in 2022 he left his position at AFK Sistema and focused on charity.
Vladimir Petrovich Yevtushenkov is the honorary State Russian Museum Development Fund Board of Trustees and is also involved in projects of the charitable foundation he founded.
